Ava and Genie III: Day in the life

Jugo Hernandez has been restocking the vending machines around UCF’s campus for 2 years. Originally from Venezuela, he only speaks Spanish but spoke through a translator since he knew very little to no English at all. He doesn’t work directly with UCF but works in partnership with Canteen, which is one of the largest vending machines in the nation. In the future, he hopes to continue to work with Canteen and come to campus to restock the vending machines, as it is something he has grown passionate about. “I love UCF,” Hernandez said. “I live to serve.”

The Kitty Beautiful hosts first cat yoga event of the year

A sense of relaxation was felt throughout The Kitty Beautiful cat cafe in Orlando during its first cat yoga event of the year, on Saturday.David Strauss and Heather Strauss, owners of the cat cafe located in downtown Orlando, have been offering cat yoga ever since they opened in 2019.
